A knife lying loose in the drawer loses its edge against other utensils. On a magnetic strip the edge touches nothing, and the knife dries freely. We make the Edge Guard covers ourselves in several lengths, the magnetic strips are from the Swedish maker Piotr The Bear in solid oak, and the knife bags hold from four to seventeen knives.
