Shipping and delivery

This is a translation for your convenience. The Norwegian version of these terms applies.

We ship with Posten in 1–3 working days, and standard delivery is free over 2,500 kr.

You can also collect your order in the shop at Teknostallen, Professor Brochs gate 8A in Trondheim. We let you know when it is ready.

Delivery

Express and home delivery cost extra, also over 2,500 kr. You see the price of each option at checkout before you order.

If the parcel does not fit in the letterbox, Posten may leave it outside your door at no extra cost to you. The door must be no more than 250 metres from the letterbox, clearly marked with your name and accessible. Otherwise the parcel goes to the nearest pickup point.

The risk for the goods passes to you when you, or someone you have designated, have received them. If the parcel is damaged or lost before then, we bear the loss. See Delivery and risk in the terms of purchase.

Parcels that are not collected

The collection deadline at Posten is 7 days. You can extend it free of charge to 14 days in the Posten app or by text message. After the deadline, Posten sends the parcel back to us.

We then keep the goods and contact you. You can collect them in the shop or have them sent again for a new delivery charge.

If you do not want the goods, you can still cancel. We then refund everything, including standard delivery to you, minus what the return to us actually cost.

Sharpening by post

Sharpening package: We send you packaging and a prepaid label, and the package arrives in the post after 2–3 working days. Put the knives in and hand the package in at Posten. Postage both ways is included in the price. If you want the sharpened knives delivered to a pickup point instead of your letterbox, it costs 99 kr.
Send it yourself: You pack the knives and send them to us at your own expense. Return postage to you costs 99 kr and is free when you send five knives or more. You see the shipping price at checkout before you order.

We send the knives back within 3–5 working days of receiving them. If you send them in the sharpening package with our label, we carry the risk from when you hand the package in at Posten until the knives are back with you. If the knives have a high combined value, tell us before you send them.

If a knife is damaged or lost, we ask you to show what it was worth, for example with a receipt, an order confirmation or a photo. The knives are yours the whole time. See Knife sharpening in the terms of purchase.

Business

For knives you send with the business package, compensation for loss or damage in transit to and from us is limited to the documented value, at most 100,000 kr per shipment. The rest of the terms are under Business customers in the terms of purchase.
