How to use the sharpening stick:
Hold the stick straight down against the kitchen counter. Place the knife at about a 15-degree angle to the stick. Lightly slide the knife from heel to tip, every other side, 5–10 times per side. Finish by wiping the blade. For even sharper results, polish with a leather strap .
