Sharp knives for a greener world

This is what we do

We use green transportation

We collect and deliver the knives by bicycle and other environmentally friendly means of transport. Our packaging is made of 100% recyclable cardboard and plastic.

We give new life to knives

Reusing, repairing and sharpening knives reduces the climate footprint and contributes to a circular economy. Good for the soul, the environment and your wallet!

We reduce food waste and extend the shelf life of food

Sharp knives cut cleaner and preserve fiber and nutrients in the ingredients, which makes food taste better and last longer.

Our climate measures

Online shopping leaves a carbon footprint. That's why we support businesses that work to reduce carbon emissions. For every order, we give a portion of the profit to businesses that remove carbon from the atmosphere and ensure climate-neutral transportation.

    How it works
For each order, the impact of the transport on greenhouse gas emissions is calculated. Based on these calculations, a portion of the proceeds goes to support carbon-reducing companies supported by Carbon Direct . The companies use the proceeds to remove or reduce the carbon that our shipments have created. Any additional funds go to further development of technological solutions aimed at sustainability and climate footprint reduction.

Here are examples of some of the companies we support:

    Heirloom

Heirloom is a company that directly captures the air and enhances the carbon mineralization process. Heirloom's technology increases the rate that occurs naturally when minerals capture carbon dioxide, instead of using energy-intensive fans to pull in air.

    Remora

Remora is developing technology that captures emissions directly from trucks as they drive. The emissions that are captured are stored long-term.

    Charm

Charm captures carbon dioxide using plant waste, converting it into a stable, carbon-rich liquid that is stored safely and deep underground - out of reach of forest fires and soil erosion.
