At Tomatosharp we take active steps to reduce our own climate footprint, and we support organisations working on carbon removal and sustainability.
What we do
We use green transport
In central Trondheim we collect and deliver knives by bicycle. The packaging is cardboard and plastic that can be fully recycled.
We give knives a new life
A knife that is sharpened and repaired does not need replacing. That saves both the environment and your wallet.
Clean cuts, less waste
A sharp knife cuts through the ingredients instead of crushing them. Less juice ends up on the board, and the cuts come out even.

We are a cycle-friendly workplace
We cycle more than 3,000 km a year to deliver sharp knives around Trondheim. It is good for our staff's health, and it spares the environment unnecessary emissions.
On that basis, Miljøpakken named us a Lighthouse in Cycle-Friendly Workplace in 2023.
For every order, we work out the emissions from shipping and pay to remove the same amount of carbon from the atmosphere. The companies that do the work are selected and vetted by Carbon Direct.
