Saisei
Saisei is our own knife series: used knives restored by us, IRO with handles made from collected plastic, and unused stock from the 1970s.
The story
Saisei means rebirth in Japanese, and is Tomatosharp's own knife series.
Second Hand is used Japanese knives, restored by us, many from kitchens where the owner had almost given up on them. IRO is Japanese blades with handles cast by hand at Plasteriet in Trondheim to our design, from collected plastic. Vintage is unused stock from Sakai in the 1970s, and Pre-owned is knives we have bought from our customers.
New knives arrive as drops.
