Tetsujin Hamono

The story

Tetsujin Hamono knives come from Kōchi Prefecture on Shikoku, a region known for traditional forging and sharpening techniques that go back several generations. Tetsujin Hamono (鉄人刃物) was developed by the master smiths Toru Tamura and Naohito Myojin, who have both spent their lives on steel treatment and precision sharpening, and are known for combining classic Japanese methods with modern steels.

The idea behind Tetsujin Hamono knives is working tools where balance, durability and cutting come together with a simple, clean look. Each blade is handmade with the focus on precision and wear resistance, often with subtle details from traditional Japanese craft. The knives are valued by professional chefs.
