Description
Handleless mug from the Sky Blue series. The glaze is deep turquoise and glossy, with a fine crackle pattern, and the rim is brown and slightly uneven.
Ceramics from Gifu in Japan. Gifu is the home of Mino ware (minoyaki). Each piece is checked and glazed by hand, so the glaze settles a little differently each time.
The shape sits well in the hand, for tea or coffee.
