Description

Wooden bowl, 11 cm, from Ishida, with a wave pattern.

The size suits rice, miso soup and small portions. Wood holds the heat, so the bowl is nice to hold even when the soup is hot.

Wood is not dishwasher safe. Wash the bowl by hand and let it dry. Ishida is based in Obama in Fukui. We also have chopsticks and chopstick rests from Ishida.

Made by

Ishida

Ishida has made chopsticks in Obama, Fukui, for over 80 years. Obama is the heart of Japanese Wakasa lacquerware, the region that makes over 80 per cent of Japan's lacquered chopsticks.
