Description

Wooden bowl, 13 cm, from Ishida, in natural-coloured wood.

It suits rice, soup and salad, and is easy to hold in the hand.

Wood cannot go in the dishwasher. Wash the bowl by hand and let it dry. Ishida is based in Obama in Fukui, and here it sits alongside chopsticks and bowls from the same place.

Made by

Ishida

Ishida has made chopsticks in Obama, Fukui, for over 80 years. Obama is the heart of Japanese Wakasa lacquerware, the region that makes over 80 per cent of Japan's lacquered chopsticks.
