For restaurants, bars and companies
Knife & Wine at your place.
We bring vintage knives, second-hand knives and knives we have brought home from the smiths in Japan, and set them out at your place for an evening or a weekend. The kitchen and the bar carry on as usual. We stand at the knife table, answer questions and wrap the knives in Japanese newspaper.
Where Knife & Wine fits.
Pop-up at your restaurant
We take a corner, a loft or a long table. Guests come for the food and go home with a knife.
Company parties and Christmas parties
At the company party or Christmas party we set up the knife table in a corner of the room. It pairs well with a knife sharpening masterclass for the staff.
About the masterclassFestivals and markets
We can set up at food festivals and markets. In September 2026 we were in Bergen for the food festival.
From the evenings.

From Bakklandet to Bergen
Our knife shop, after dark.
In summer 2025 we ran Knivsjappa, a pop-up knife shop at Bakklandet in Trondheim. People dropped in to look at knives and have a chat, and we missed that when it closed. Knife & Wine is the same thing in the evening, with food and drink as well.
The first one was up in the loft at TempoTempo in Bergen in summer 2026, and in September we were back for the food festival. Read the Knife & Wine story.

Second hand and vintage
The knives come from our workshop.
We restore used knives ourselves in the workshop in Trondheim, where we also sharpen the Saisei knives, before they are sold on.
You do not have to wait for the next evening. Many of the same knives are in Saisei Second Hand and Saisei Vintage, and some are in the shop at Teknostallen.
