Description
Onyx from Jealous Devil is a dense binchotan-style hardwood charcoal, made for high heat, clean burning and precise control.
It burns hot and steady with little smoke, which makes it well suited to konro, yakitori, meat, seafood and vegetables. It gives intense direct heat without masking the ingredients with heavy smoke.
Onyx takes a little more time and active heat to light than ordinary charcoal, but in return it gives a long burn time, even heat and less need to top up along the way.
